Hey, I am Nur. I grew up in Queens, NY, went to college at Stony Brook University where I received my B.S. in Computer Science. Nowadays I help product teams ship thoughtful systems. This space is where I keep the random experiments and musings that deserve a slower pace.
I’m a software engineer who loves building reliable, scalable systems that power real customer experiences. I’ve worked across high-impact teams at AWS, Amazon Alexa, Coinbase and American Express, where I designed and owned distributed systems, improved performance and resiliency, and helped teams safely roll out major changes like platform migrations and multi-region expansions.
